Fly for tots 2011 was a huge sucess this year, TEAM GURU XTREME was pleased, and honored to be asked, to be a part of such a wonderful cause, at such an awesome event. Robert Vess, of Vess Aero sums it up by saying.....
It's truly a "feel good" atmosphere for three entire days.
But all of that simply forms the foundation for the real purpose of Fly-for-Tots. Everything happens with one goal in mind. To somehow convert the enthusiasm, excitement, or even love of model aviation into something that might somehow enrich the lives of less fortunate children. We all come together on this one weekend to raise as much money as possible for a worthy, North Carolina children's charity. Again in 2010, we chose to support the Victory Junction camp in Randleman, NC. As the event staff visited this camp in previous years, each of our hearts was touched and we collectively knew that this was the organization that we wanted to support.
So as we flew and educated the public about our sport, all aspects of the event were serving our financial objective. And in true FFT form everyone responded in their own individual way, which culminated in a donation that should once again reach a mark around $27,000! We never know what will happen and are proud of anything we accomplish for our charity. But somehow the magic of the Fly-for-Tots prevailed again and we exceeded our expectations in these tough times. And we had tons of fun in the process! What will the 2011 bring?

XTREME THAN EVER!!!!!
TEAM GURU XTREME'S TEAM MOTTO is to have FUN while helping others, from the kids to the adults, we want to introduce the wonderful world of RC aviation fun to everyone we can, we offer a professional static display with two forty eight foot trailers. One of the trailers is an air conditioned mobile simulator, with two high resolution LCD projection screens. The other trailer being our airplane and equiptment hauler. Along with all the excitement, our pilots will be on site to answer any questions anyone may have, also to perform demos,and most importantly to have lots of FUN!!! We can perform a single team demo, or we can also handle the entire demo session. For info and any questions feel free to give us a call, we would love to be at your event.
